Paul and I have loved seeing the relationship between Maelyn and her grandparents develop since she has been home. We visited Paul's parents and we were able to hang out in the backyard for the morning. Maelyn loved this as she adored exploring the different plants, objects and even the garden -- pointing to everything she wanted to explore with Paul.
Hands down, Maelyn's favourite part of the visit was eating the fresh raspberries that Papa grows every year. She kept pointing to him and demanding that he pick her more and more berries -- too cute!
During the next visit, Maelyn and her Papa pored over a book about Maelyn's favourite topic -- animals!
Maelyn also met her Auntie April, Kristie and Rita. She took to them immediately! They played for hours and Maelyn had a blast! Auntie April has been very generous with our little miss -- finding her clothes that fit her, making food for our family, and always thinking of the little things that help to make our lives that much easier!
Maelyn LOVES the phone and will 'chat' with anyone that calls...
