Catching Up...Part 3

Paul is very fortunate to have a wonderful set of friends that have been together since high school -- some from even before that! The group has been steadily growing in numbers as the families have been having kids and it was a blast to get together with everyone.

We went to Cathy and Steve's place -- an amazing place for the kids to play. Plenty of room to run around, tons of shade, playground equipment....what more could a parent kid ask for?!

Maelyn had a blast hanging out with the other kids and playing non-stop in the yard. Needless to say, she crashed the second we got in the car and slept for hours afterwards!

Our little miss loves everything about animals -- pictures, noises, the animals themselves. I went to pick up some medication for Rocky and Maelyn had a blast in there -- I asked them if we could come back for a daily visit, she had so much fun! Side note - Maelyn's favourite animal so far? Dogs! How could that be?? We have three cats -- dogs are not in the cards for us! :)

We met up with our neighbours and friends, Erin and Hannah, on a walk one evening. Hannah was very sweet with Maelyn, giving her hugs and sharing her toys...

Our water baby enjoying her new water table....

Enjoying a meal at our favourite sushi restaurant -- she LOVED the edamame beans, while Mama loved having a meal that she didn't have to cook....

Playing with her new toy stroller -- sorry, Maelyn...you don't fit in there!!

See?? Cats are better....love the cat....never ask for a dog...hehe!

Jan, I have a toy playpen that was given to us but Sydney already has a few and was wondering if you'd like it? I can drop it off at Alana's for you next time I'm there if you are interested.
